PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the printing of treatment ink for enhancing the properties of recording ink by a single side recording head by providing a heating element row and a drive system on both surfaces of a head substrate and providing ink supply liquid chambers on both sides of the head substrate to constitute recording heads. SOLUTION: A heating element row and a drive system are provided on both surfaces of a head substrate 101 and emitting orifices 102, 103, nozzles, ink passages 106, 107 and ink supply liquid chambers are provided on both sides of the head substrate 101 to constitute recording heads. The single side recording head 104 is set to a recording head for treatment ink and the other recording head 105 is set to a recording head for recording ink. Ink is supplied to the recording heads 104, 105 from the ink supply liquid chambers through ink passages 106, 107 and filters. The driving data signal and driving power of the recording heads are supplied to the head substrate 101. By this constitution, an image of high image quality is obtained and a printing speed is also high and the fixing properties of ink are excellent and the fastness of an image is enhanced. |
