FLUID MUTUAL-CONNECTING PART FOR INK-JET PEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt a pen on an ink-jet printer to be connected to an ink feed tube. SOLUTION: An ink pen has an entrance assembly 14 with a diaphragm. A carrier has an exit assembly 12 including a collar and a needle with a lateral hole. The entrance assembly 14 is inserted to the exit assembly 12, whereby the collar 26 is moved from a closing position where the collar covers the lateral hole to an open position where the lateral hole is exposed in the entrance assembly 14. The ink is accordingly allowed to flow into the entrance assembly 14 through the exit assembly 12. The diaphragm shuts the flow of a fluid from the entrance assembly 14 when the entrance assembly 14 and the exit assembly 12 are released from mutual coupling. The diaphragm 36 has a blister 46 for sealing the entrance assembly 14 to the exit assembly 12 when the entrance and exit assemblies 14, 12 are coupled.
