PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a green leaf Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea comprising chlorophyll, vitamins A, B, C and E and minerals remaining therein. SOLUTION: A collected raw leaf of Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea is cooled in a refrigerator, then instantaneously washed with hot water at 70-80 deg.C temperature within 5-8hr, subsequently heated to 95-98 deg.C for each leaf of the Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea for 2-3min with steam or hot water, then cooled with cooling water or cold air at 1-4 deg.C to stop the fermentation with enzymes and deterioration. The resultant leaf is subsequently dried with hot air at 90-95 deg.C or by indirect heating to stop the deterioration of chlorophyll. The green leaf Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea comprising the chlorophyll, vitamins A, B, C and E and minerals remaining therein is then obtained and roughly ground into a brownish green color. The resultant green leaf Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea is subsequently filled in a bag and pulverized with a pulverizer having impellers to reduce the frictional heat by utilizing a principle of pulverization due to mutual collision of the Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea itself and retain the green color essential to the green leaf Eucommia ulmoides Oliver tea. |
