DISCHARGE DEVICE OF AIR CONDITIONER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the whole room temperature comfortable by turning an upper cabinet which forms a discharge opening on both ways during operation and expanding the wind direction control range of discharged air. SOLUTION: An operation manipulating means is provided with an operation key which selectively switches on and of the operation of an air conditioner and a rotary key which turns on both ways an upper cabinet 40 which forms a discharge opening 9 so as to adjust exapandingly either side of the wind direction discharged through the discharge opening 9. A control means controls a power source which is applied to a motor so as to operate the upper cabinet on the basis of the operation key and an on/off signal of the rotary key. A motor drive means controls the drive of a motor 51 so as to turn the upper cabinet 40 which forms the discharge opening 9 formed by the input of a control signal output from the control means on the basis of the rotary key and the on/off operation of the rotary key.
