<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet, for a wire harness, which can be used for wire harnesses of various bundle diameters in common, whose waterproof performance is good and which is excellent in a mounting and attaching property on and to the wire harness. SOLUTION: In a grommet 1, a wire insertion and passage pipe part 3 into and through which a wire harness 5 is inserted and passed in a waterproof manner is installed so as to be continued integrally at a partition-plate attaching and mounting part 2 which is attached to, mounted on, and coupled to, a through hole in the partition plate of a vehicle body. At this time, the circumferential wall 6 of the wire insertion and passage pipe part 3 is cut out in the length direction of the wire insertion and passage pipe part 3, and a pleat part 10 in which a pleat piece 11 continued to the circumferential wall 6 is extended to the outside so as to be overlapped and turned down is provided. When the fundamental pipe diameter D2 of the wire insertion and passage pipe part 3 in a free state is different from the bundle diameter D1 of the wire harness 5 to be inserted and attached, the excess or the insufficiency of the pipe diameter is corrected and supplemented by the pleat piece 11.</p> |
