PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize improvement in the efficiency of work concerning the maintenance and the operation of a system and in cost reduction as a result by especially attaining the efficiency of a check processing of slip data, in a slip reading system using OCR(optical character reader). SOLUTION: The system is the slip reading system constituted by using an OCR 1 and a computer system 2 and the slip 3 where item check data CD which is defined at every index is recorded in addition to item data corresponding to the previously set item. The system 2 is provided with a data processing means executing a prescribed slip data processing based on the item data which is outputted from the OCR 1 and reading data check parts 20 and 30 executing the prescribed check processing of the item data based on the item check data. The reading data check parts 20 and 30 check whether or not the item data has data contents which coincides with the previously defined contents based on the item check data. |
