<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation space of a device main body and provide a sheet storage device which does not prevent jamming processing property of sheet by using a cassette cover of a sheet cassette as a sheet discharge tray. SOLUTION: A cassette cover 6 is arranged in correspondence to an upper part of a sheet cassette 1 to protect sheet P stored. Moreover, a sheet discharge part of a device main body 17 is used as a sheet discharge tray on which sheet P is discharged and piled up in a face-up condition. When the cassette cover 6 is pulled out in the arrow a direction, a fixing claw 6c exceeds an end 18 of an outer cover and is exposed to the outside of a machine. At that time, the end 18 of the cover is nipped and fixed by the fixing claw 6c and a stopper 6b to become a discharge tray. Moreover, when the cover 6 is stored, the fixing claw 6c is pressed into a slit 6d to move the cover 6 in the arrow b direction for storage. As a result, it is obviated to provide a sheet discharge tray separately.</p> |
