<p>PURPOSE:To separate mixed gas containing ammonia into ammonia and other gas with reduced energy by providing one or more adsorbing device packed with zeolite or activated carbon with a pore size of below 5Angstrom . CONSTITUTION:To a pressure swing ammonia separating apparatus separating ammonia from mixed gas containing ammonia, four adsorbing towers A, B, C, D connected so as to become parallel flow are provided between a mixed gas supply manifold 10 and a non-adsorbed gas product outflow gas manifold 11. The adsorbing towers A-D are packed with an adsorbent with a pore size of below 5Angstrom selected from among synthetic or natural zeolite, activated carbon or a mixture of them. The component adsorbed in the adsorbing towers A-D is introduced into an adsorbed product tank E by an exhaust pump P through the exhaust manifolds 12 provided to the inlet ends of the adsorbing towers A-D.</p> |
