PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the subject combustion chamber resist a high temperature, and elastic against structural breakage by constituting a high temperature combustion chamber with a hollow body member having an outer surface and an inner surface and made of rhenium substantially, and sticking an alloy made of iridium and at least one of metal for an alloy, on a part of the inner surface of the body member. SOLUTION: A high temperature combustion chamber 10 consists of a hollow body member 12 having an inner surface and an outer surface 14 including an inlet and an outlet ends 22, 24, and a throat 22 is positioned between a tip and a divergent nozzle. In the hollow body member 12, rhenium powder is filled, pressure is applied on a mold, and it is advanced to a sintering process. And the hollow body member 12 is formed in such a way that a hot isostatic cycle is applied. The inner surface is covered with an alloy 18 made of iridium and at least one of a metal for an alloy which is selected from a group made of rhodium, platinum, and palladium. The hollow body member 12 made of rhenium is protected from corrosion caused by fuel and oxidation, by the alloy 18. |
