<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle travel meter which does not require a transmission part transmitting the magnetic detection signal of a magnet. SOLUTION: A transponder 5 is attached to a rim 4a of a front wheel 4, and the response signal sent from the transponder 5 is detected with an antenna in a meter body 1 fixed to a handle bar 3 above the front wheel, for counting the number of rotation of the front wheel. At this time, a reach range WD of electromagnetic wave of the inquiry signal sent from the meter body 1 reaches the upper part of the front wheel 4, and the transponder 5 sends the response signal a time when it gets in the electromagnetic wave reach range WD. By this constitution, rotation of the wheel is detected with the response signal of the transponder 5, so that the meter is very easily attached compared with an conventional method.</p> |
