PRODUCTION OF AQUEOUS SOLUTION FINE PARTICLE-CONTAINING MATERIAL AND SHEET/FILM COATED THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain the above material containing aqueous solution with fertilizer, agrochemical or medicinal agent dissolved therein in the form of fine particles, and capable of stably and sustainably releasing the agent over a long period. SOLUTION: This material with aqueous solution disperse phase fine particles immobilized therein is obtained by polymerization of a high-disperse-phase-ratio emulsified composition comprising (A) 1-50wt.% of a continuous phase containing a virtually water-insoluble polymerizable monomer and a surfactant soluble in the monomer and a polymerization initiator and (B) 50-99wt.% of a fine particulate aqueous solution as the disperse phase. The other objective sheet or film coated with the above material with the aqueous solution disperse phase fine particles immobilized thereon is obtained by coating a sheet/film 1μm to 1cm thick with the above composition followed by polymerizing the polymerizable monomer in the continuous phase.
