PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further narrow down the track pitch densify the tracks arrangement by reducing cross talk from adjacent track. SOLUTION: In this recording medium, a track or tracks are constituted of lands 2a-2c divided by a groove or grooves 1 formed spirally or concentrically, and in the individual land preformat information is formed by prepits 3a-3c having a phase structure respectively. In this case, a track pitch is nearly equalized to a read-out spot diameter, and forming positions of the individual prepits 3a-3c are biased against the central positions of the lands 2a-2c to the inner circumferential side. |
