PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a milking machine for animal, provided with a plurality of detectors to determine the positions of teats and attached in a state movable in the own housing fixed to a milking room, effective for preventing the damage and contamination of the detectors and having excellent hygiene and workability. SOLUTION: Two or more detectors 10 for determining the positions of teats are placed in a housing 11 in a state not only rotatable around the longitudinal axis 13 but also rotatable around an essentially horizontal axis 12. The housing 11 is fixed in a milking room and provided with a filter and a cleaning member. The detector 10 is preferably composed of a transmitter-receiver, especially a laser transmitter-receiver. |
