PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a highly precise measurement excellent in long-time stability with a simple structure in the analysis of a liquid sample. SOLUTION: In a device for amperometric detection, a measurement is performed while performing the operation of applying an object detecting voltage of +0.3-1.0V to the silver/silver chloride electrode of a platinum working electrode, applying a voltage so as to hold the voltage in 0.0-0.2V for the time corresponding to O.2-10% of the time of continuing the application of the detecting voltage at an interval of once per 0.5-5.0 seconds, and thereafter returning the voltage to the above detecting voltage. The averaged time 1-10 times of both the periods of the state of applying the detecting voltage and the state of applying the voltage of 0.0-0.2V is measured to average the output current value of the platinum working electrode, and the concentration of the object in a solution is electrochemically measured from this current average change. |
