PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibody-producing cell-inhibiting medicine useful for treating and preventing atopic dermatitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, bronchial asthma, etc., by using a specific natural polymer. SOLUTION: This medicine for inhibiting antibody-producing cells contains a yeast- related polymer as an active ingredient. The yeast-related polymer is especially preferably either of yeast, a yeast extract or the enzymatic degradation product of the yeast. The yeast-related polymer is excellent in the action for inhibiting antibody- producing cells in a spleen, etc., to reduce the production of the antibodies. The yeast- related polymer is high in the effect for preventing autominue diseases, especially atopic dermatitis appearing in dependence on seasons, because the antibody-producing cell-inhibiting medicine can be administered in good timing, before the immune reaction is flared up. The content of the antibody-producing cell-inhibiting medicine in a medicine composition is approximately 0.1-60wt.%, especially 5-30wt.%. The content of the antibody-producing cell-inhibiting medicine in a food composition is approximately 0.1-80wt.%, especially 1-70wt.%. The content of the antibody-producing cell-inhibiting medicine in a skin preparation for external use or a cosmetic is also approximately 0.05-30wt.%, especially 0.1-20wt.%. |
