PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coating stripper by which a coating at a wire end into and to which a watertight stopper is inserted and attached can be stripped without changing the position of the watertight stopper and which is low-cost. SOLUTION: One pair of rocking members 510, 530 which are turned around respective turning pins 550, 560 are arranged so as to be faced, and an insertion and removal shaft 570 can be inserted into, and removed from, a part between their one-end sides. Wire temporary-holding plates 310, 410 which are provided with sandwiching and holding blades are fixed to other end sides of the rocking members 510, 530, and a wire contact block 200 is installed so as to face it. When a wire 1 is inserted between the wire temporary-holding plates 310, 410, the rocking members 510, 530 are rocked, and the wire 1 comes into contact with the wire contact block 200. When the insertion and removal shaft 570 is inserted, the rocking members 510, 530 are rocked, the coating member of the wire 1 is cut by the sandwiching and holding blades. The wire 1 is pressed by a pressure member 600 so as to be interlocked with an action which sandwiches the wire 1. |
