The dual port memory device having a random port for receiving data and a serial port for serially supplying the data provided on a display, is characterized in that if the number of the data random input/output lines in the random port is positive number of times of the number of the serial input/output lines in the serial port, the data random input/output lines are divided such that the number of the divided data random input/output lines is the same as that of the serial input/output lines, and the data supplied to the divided random input/output lines are latched in the serial port and then alternately read in series.
