The combustion chamber has an annular wall (2) defining at least part of its internal shape, with a series of openings in the wall for passage of a wall coolant fluid. The openings consist of slots (3) of a quasi-rectangular cross-section, arranged in two alternating series of parallel rows (4a, 4b). The longitudinal distance (d) separating the ends of adjacent slots is at least equal to the length (l) of the rectangular portion of each slot. The length of the slots is at least ten times as great as their width (e), and the distance (Pa) separating each row of slots from the next is predetermined according to the dimensions of the slots. |
