AQEUOUS TOOTH CARE COMPOSITION CONTAINING A MIXTURE OF XANTHAN GUM AND GUAR GUM AS THE THICKENING AGENT

An aqueous tooth care composition including an aqueous moistening medium and a thickening agent based on xanthan gum and guar gum. The composition is characterised in that said thickening agent consists of a uniform intimate premix of xanthan gum, guar gum and a wetting or chaotropic agent, with the weight ratio of xanthan gum to guar gum being of around 1/99-99/1. The thickening agent preferably consists of a cogranulate of xanthan gum, guar gum and a wetting or chaotropic agent.
