This manufacturing method applies to cold-rolled pure silver objects requiring shearing and generating a blank; the method is distinguished by the fact that the cut edges of the blank are softened with cooling, by abrasion of its sheared edge, so as to eliminate metal over at least one-tenth of a millimetre, and by the fact that all the subsequent deburring and sanding operations are likewise carried out under conditions of cooling. The tableware resulting from this procedure, that is, spoons or forks, is constituted entirely of pure silver, with a hardness exceeding 110 HV. |
