<p>A lead-in has a flange (2) and a central high voltage pin (3) with a ceramic bushing (4) and an outer protective tube (5), within which the bushing is retained. The bushing has a collar (7) forming a vacuum-tight seal around it, welded to the tube. The tube and flange are also welded together. Some of the bushing and the pin protrudes beyond the flange. The outer diameter of the bushing is larger where the collar is attached than further down inside the tube. Within the tube, the bushing protrudes beyond the end of the pin.</p> |
