The pallet (1) produced is block-shaped and four-way. It has a rectangular upper side (2) and lower side (3), which are parallel to each other and are both formed in a closed manner. The pallet also has two pairs of two oppositely located and parallel side surfaces (4, 4', 5, 5'). Between the sides of a pair of side surfaces (4, 4') extend two parallel insert channels (6, 6') for accommodation of the forks of a forklift truck or a pallet truck. Between the sides of the other pair of side surfaces (5, 5') extend also two parallel insert channels (7, 7') for truck forks. All the insert channels are at the same height from the under side of the pallet and preferably have the same rectangular cross-sectional shape. |
