<p>An object detection sensor is provided which uses the difference in reflected radiometric energy from object as compared to reflected radiometric energy from the background alone. The difference in power of the receiver reflected energy determines whether the object is present or not in a defined field of view. The sensor in particular may be used to sense a vehicle passing through a defined pavement area.</p> |
