IMPROVEMENTS IN SHOULDER HARNESSES

A shoulder harness (2) for use by a person to carry one or more portable items under or adjacent an arm or about the torso. The harness (2) includes a shoulder support (4) with attached front and back straps (5, 6) which are also secured to a base pad (3) with means (9, 10) to releasably secure one or more items. The shoulder support (4) is retained in position by a second shoulder attachment (7) secured to the back of the shoulder support (4) and which loops over a second shoulder. There are three different embodiments of the second shoulder attachment (7, 27, 47). There are optional clips (12) at the bottom of the base pad (3), clipping onto a belt or other item of clothing.
