A rigid corner connector (1) for a door (2) having a frame with stiles (6) a nd rails (8) seating a panel (2) therein, includes a bracket (14) having a generally planar body portion (24) with perpendicular sidewalls (26) definin g a channel and having inwardly extending lips (28) along an intermediate portion. An end wall (30) extends between the sidewalls at one end thereof, and an end flange (32) at the other end extending in the opposite direction and having tabs (34) engaging the rail (8) thereon. The sidewalls (26) also have outwardly extending side flanges (42, 44) adjacent their ends, and the side flange (42) adjacent the end flange (32) has a tab (66) engagable in th e end of the stile. The other side flange (44) has a tab (50) engagable in a slot (10) in the wall of the stile (6). A roller mounting member (16) is slidably seated in the bracket for sliding movement on the bracket and it transfers loads to the end wall (30). A roller (18) is rotatably mounted on the mounting member, and a detent tab (98) seated in a channel in the roller mounting member limits the movement of the mounting member on the bracket.</ SDOAB>
