<p>The anchor plate (1) is made from a wear resistant plastics material which has reinforcements (9,10) at the side (2) with which it engages with the ground. The reinforcements are in the form of radial ribs and circular ribs which are concentric with the centreline of the plate. Flowable parts (7) are mounted on the reinforcements which can be in the form of individual studs or in the form of a disc. The anchor plate has a central opening (5) with which it is placed over the anchor (4). The opening incorporates a self locking sleeve (6) which has a flange with radial slots at the bottom and so that the diameter of it opening is smaller than the diameter of the anchor. The sections are folded back when the plate is placed on the anchor.</p>
