Chemical-optical laser for military use using single cartridge

摘要

The laser generates a laser beam for use in all operating regions in which other lasers are also operated. The pumping action of the existing radiation of a chemical reaction is used. The existing radiation of a continuous chemical reaction is used to generate a long-duration output beam. The existing radiation of a short-wave chemical reaction is used to generate a laser pulse, whereby the laser active medium can be re-utilised for renewed stimulation by a new reaction. Alternatively, the radiation from a short-wave reaction can be used to generate a laser pulse without re-utilisation of the laser active medium.
