The invention relates to a cooling-water circulation system in an internal combustion engine (1), in particular in a motor vehicle. Said system has a radiator (23), a pump (3) and a latent heat accumulator (7) and/or an auxiliary heating device (8) in the circulation system. The pump (3) circulating the cooling water is a canned motor pump with revolutions which can be regulated in accordance with the temperature readings of the latent heat accumulator (7) or of the auxiliary heater (8) and/or the internal combustion engine (1)
