The floor heating system has a circuit including a radiator and a return temperature limiting valve (30) in the return line (22). The return line also includes a space thermostat valve (28) in series with the return temperature limiting valve. The space thermostat valve and the return temperature limiting valve may be in a common casing (32). Their positions within the casing may be interchangeable. The casing may also contain a venting valve. It may be possible to set the space thermostat valve by remote control.
