Power brake for motor vehicles

The brake power amplifier may be used on a road vehicle. It has a control valve (12) which can be operated independently of the operating rod (7) with its valve piston (9), by an electromagnet (20), which operates on a third seal seat (24) to ventilate the working chamber. Devices (36,37,39) are provided for a controlled levelling out of the pneumatic pressure between the working chamber (3) and the low pressure chamber (4). This is done in the pressure reduction phase during the return stroke of the third valve seat from the valve body (10).
