PURPOSE:To make the device small and to facilitate the heat design by sending information of a current required for a camera section to a power supply section from the camera section and supplying only a required constant current to the camera section from the power supply section. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 15 as a current information transmission means having a function sending a signal representing a current required for a camera section 1 to a power supply section 2 and controlling a signal generating circuit 14 controls the signal generating circuit 14 and obtains the current required for the camera section 1 to generate the signal representing the current and sends it while being superimposed on a constant current through a coaxial cable 3. Then a CPU 24 of the power supply section 2 separates the signal representing the current sent through the coaxial cable 3 from other signals and controls the constant current supplied from a constant current circuit 26 according to the signal representing the current to supply only the required current for the camera section 1 to be connected. Thus, it is not required for the camera section 1 to consume excess current converted into heat. |
