PURPOSE:To measure the value of change in sheet peel-off properties easily and in a short time by calculating the length from a nip image to the end of an image, and converting time spent until a generated sound is detected by a sound collection microphone after the passage of a stay past a position detector, in terms of length. CONSTITUTION:An image position at nips on a blanket cylinder 18 and a pressure cylinder 7 is measured using a position detection device 33 arranged on the blanket cylinder 18, and a length L2 from a nip image to the end of an image is calculated. In addition, time spent until a generated sound of high strength detected by a directional microphone 35 after the passage of a stay 41 fixed to the blanket cylinder 18 past the position detection device 33, is converted in terms of length as L3. Further, the length L1 of a printing medium material sticking to the blanket cylinder 18 is converted as L1=L3-L2. If a sound of high strength generates, time that the sheet peels off is when the image ends from the blanket. Therefore, it is possible to calculate the length of the printing medium material sticking to the blanket cylinder upto a sheet peel-off position by detecting the end of an image using a sound collection microphone. |
