PURPOSE:To obtain the title high-quality spice having excellent fragrance, flavor, etc., fine particle size and uniformity, from cumin seed oil having high fat and oil content, by grinding hole of spice under a specific condition stepwise into a fine particle size. CONSTITUTION:Balls of spice are ground by a roll machine 1 into powder comprising 25-70wt.% ground material having a particle size distribution of 25-50% the ball diameter, the powder is pulverized by a roll machine 2 into powder comprising 45-90wt.% ground material having a particle size distribution of 10-25% the ball diameter and the powder is further ground by a roll machine 3 into powder comprising 60wt.% ground material having a particle size distribution of <=15% the ball diameter to give the objective spice. Fruit of umbelliferous plant (e.g. cumin) is preferable as the balls of spice. |
