PURPOSE:To prevent slip of driving wheels and surely operate running, when a cargo handling object is placed on a fork, the object together with the fork are held on an advancing position by means of a reach cylinder, and the fork lift is operated to start in this condition, by operating the fork together with the object to retreat, and increasing the pressing force of driving wheels against the running road surface. CONSTITUTION:A reach control valve 24 is provided on the way of the main oil passage of an oil pump 22 so as to make the piston 5a of a reach cylinder 5 operable to advance or retreat. Further, a solenoid valve 27 is provided on the way of the main oil passage so as to perform changeover between a circuit port to operate retreat of the reach cylinder 5 and a neutral port by electrification of a solenoid coil 28. Further, the retreat operation of the reach cylinder 5 is synchronously performed with the advance operation of a fork lift, and hence the pressing force of the running road surface applied on driving wheels is enhanced by retreat operation of a cargo handling object loaded on the fork so as to prevent slip. |
