PURPOSE:To obtain an effective lens driving device for automobile by rotating and connecting a driving side and a displacement side together through a rubber belt that can slide, so as to prevent the mechanical destruction of a moving side lens, and to drive the device manually at the time of motor failure. CONSTITUTION:A moving lens 6 is displaced to a fixed lens 2 by the driving of a motor 15. A sliding member 17 moves along a screw shaft 9 through a gear mechanism, while a feeding groove 19 of the member 17 is fitted to a roller 21 and is thus displaced, and a frame 4 on which the moving lens 6 is fixed through the roller 21 is displaced in the optical axis L in the range of a stroke S. The displacement width of the sliding member 17 is regulated by a limit switch 22, and when the screw shaft 9 is in a locked state, a rubber belt 13 between pulleys 11 and 12 is slid, and the destruction of a screw part is prevented thereby. At the time of malfunction, a coupler 27a of a manual driver 27 is fitted to a coupling 9b of the end part of the shaft 9, and the positioning adjustment of the moving lens 6 can thus be manually carried out. |
