PURPOSE:To perform various manual rhythmic performances by specifying the relationship between plural rhythmic sound sources and plural storage regions for every kind for rhythm, writing operator identification information and deciding a most suitable operator arrangement. CONSTITUTION:When a desired rhythm kind is selected, the sound source specification information corresponding to the rhythm kind is read from a first storage means 20. In a second storage means 22, the relationships between plural storage regions and plural rhythm sound sources required for a rhythmic performance are specified in accordance with the read sound source specification information. When an operator identification information, which specifies a specific operator among plural input operators 14, is written for every storage region among plural storage regions, a rhythmic sound source suitable for the rhythm kind is assigned to plural desired input operators 14. Thus, by selectively operating the plural input operators 14 to which rhythmic sound source are assigned, manual rhythmic sound signals are generated. |
