<p>PURPOSE:To make the shape of a window small, and to increase the number of stored cassettes by storing the cassette in a rack in a vertical position, and rotating the cassette received from a carrier through the window of the rack by a buffer. CONSTITUTION:The rack 10 is provided with a large number of longitudinal cassette storage parts 14 opened to one side of their surfaces, and the cassette 12 is stored in them. The longitudinal window 16 is provided at the vicinity of the center of the rack 10, and the cassette 12 can be carried through this window to both sides of the rack 10 by the carrier 20. The carrier 20 moves and carries the cassette 12 to the window 16, and on the contrary, it returns the cassette 12 to the prescribed cassette storage part 14 from this window 16. The buffer 70 receives the cassette 12, and changes the direction of the cassette, and moves it to the lifter 72. Thus, this storing/replacing work of the cassette 12 to the rack 10 can easily performed.</p> |
