PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, the graininess and the preservable property of the title material by composing the silver halide photographic emulsion of a particle in which the surface of a normal crystalline silver bromide particle does not have a projecting part, and the silver chloride content of a silver halide layer on the surface of the particle is higher than that of the silver halide layer positioned in the inner part of the particle. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particle is composed of the normal crystalline particle forming the silver halide layer in the inner side of the particle as a base, and the silver chloride layer forming the silver halide layer on the surface of the particle. And, the projecting part does not exist on the normal crystalline silver bromide particle, and the silver chloride content of the silver halide layer on the surface of the particle is higher than that of the silver halide layer positioned in the inner part of the particle. Thus, the emulsion composed of the normal crystalline silver halide particle which has the high sensitivity, and the improved preservable property and stability in the production of the emulsion, can be obtd. |
