PURPOSE: To selectively generate various inversion accompaniment patterns by inverting a reference accompaniment pattern by a inversion frequency indicated by a variable inversion frequency indication means. CONSTITUTION: Fundamental tone information or inversion frequency information corresponding to the present musical condition is obtained in real time by a fundamental tone generation means 37. The reference pattern is rotated in an accompaniment data forming device 39 by the rotational frequency indicated by the fundamental tone generation means 37. Consequently, accompaniment patterns which have the same chord type and the same fundamental note but are subtly different are outputted by changing the rotational frequency. The progress of the fundamental tone or the rotational frequency of the accompaniment line is finely controlled by the fundamental tone generation part 37, and a string of variably rotated accompaniment patterns is generated in accordance with the progress of the rotational frequency. |
