摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To uniform luminous intensity of a fluorescent material and make electron emission characteristic and the position of an electron emission section to be controllable by placing the electron emission section in the vicinity of a step on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A fine particle film 35 or a thin film conductor including fine particles is provided between electrodes 33 and 34 facing each other. Further provided in a part of the fine particle film 35 is a discontinuous electron emission section 36 of a fixed shape. A step is formed between the electrodes with regard to the electron emission section, as the production method of the discontinuous electron emission section of a fixed shape. A step forming member 32 is made of insulating material such as glass and SnO2. Organic metal is distributively applied between the electrodes and baked thereafter to form a metallic fine particle film therebetween. When the fine particle film 35 formed on the step is energized with electricity electron emission section 36 is formed linearly along the step.</p>
