PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of equipment to a large extent and increase the number of moving bodies for conveyance that can be stored by providing first and second guide rails parallel to each other, and narrowing the space between the first and second guide rails at a turning portion in a diagonally travelling passage portion. CONSTITUTION:At a turning portion 38 incorporated in a diagonally travelling passage the space between first and second guide rails 32, 33 is narrowed so that a driven trolley unit 3 to be towed by a driving trolley unit 2 via a moving body 1 for conveyance can easily be made to run along the circular portions 41, 42 of the guide rails of the turning portion; i.e., the guide rails 31, 32 are further apart from each other at rectilinear passage portions 39, 40 provided on the respective front and rear sides of the turning portion 38 and the angle thetaof the moving body 1 for conveyance in its diagonal position is maximized within its permitted limit so as to provide enough merits in causing the moving body 1 for conveyance to run diagonally and also to allow the moving body 1 for conveyance to run smoothly even at the turning portion 38 without using devices specially for turning the moving body 1 for conveyance. |
