PURPOSE:To obtain proper steering resistance without installing a special control valve or the like by installing a transfer passage which guides pressure in a suction passage in a vane pump to a reaction chamber of a control valve in power steering. CONSTITUTION:A vane pump 1 is driven by an engine via a pulley 6, and a flow control valve 13 is supplied with pressure oil from a discharge pump 11. A fixed portion of this pressure oil is fed to a ring groove 25 of a control valve 20, while its excess portion flows back to a suction passage 10. On the other hand, the valve 20 feeds the pressure oil to an oil chamber corresponding to power cylinder via one side of respective ring grooves 26, 27, and it slides to one side in response to handle operation, driving a steering link to be linked up. In this case, pressure in the suction passage 10 is uniformly led into respective reaction chambers 33, 34 of the valve 20 via a transfer passage 14 to give resistance to slide motion of a spool 22 moved in response to the handle operation. With this constitution, proper steering resistance is obtained. |
