PURPOSE:To enhance the persistence of medicinal effect and to control said effect by holding phospholipid and drugs in the pores of a porous bio-ceramic body and placing said bio-ceramic body in body fluids to form a drug-containing liposome having drugs contained therein. CONSTITUTION:As ceramic constituting a porous bio-ceramic body, calcium phosphate, alumina, zirconia or the like not harmful to a living body are used and, as phospholipid, phosphatidylchloline occurring from egg yolk or phosphatidylinositol from a cow brain having hydrophobic and hydrophilic parts and forming a liposome is used. As drugs, there are medicines required in keeping medicinal effect for a long time, for example, antibiotics and synthetic antibacterial agents. In holding phospholipid and drugs in the pores of the ceramic body, the porous ceramic body is immersed in a liquid mixture of respective solutions containing both of them separately and dehydrated by freeze drying. When this drug-containing ceramic body is immersed in body fluids such as water or blood, a liposome including the drugs is formed. |
