PURPOSE:To improve permittivity, Q, and temperature characteristics by adding Al2O3 to a BaO-TiO2-Nd2O3 basic composition material. CONSTITUTION:Al2O3 is added to a BaO-TiO2-Nd2O2 basic composition material. That is, a porcelain is composed of BaO, TiO2, and Nd2O3 wherein, when they are expressed in the general formula of XBaO+YTiO2+ZNd2O3, less than 2.0 weight parts of Al2O3 are added to 100 weight parts of a composition with X, Y, and Z (X+Y+Z=1) falling respectively in a range, in mol-percentage, of 8.5<=X<=19.0, 67.0<=Y<=71.0, and 14.0<=Z<=24.5. Accordingly, permittivity, Q, and temperature characteristics can be improved while maintaining the proper ties of permittivity and Q. |
