<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of brake noise and shudder, by forming engaging step parts for brake force transmission on the inner circumference of a friction pad in the side of rotating-in of a disc rotor, and by providing the first, second, and third anchor parts in a support. CONSTITUTION:Engaging step parts 26R, 26L are formed in opposition to each other at both ends of the inner circumference edge of the back metal 22 of a friction pad 18, and anchor parts are formed in a support 32: the first anchor parts 30R, 30L engage the engaging step parts 26R, 26L provided on the inner circumference side of the friction pad 18, the second anchor parts 32R, 32L have engaging surfaces along the end surfaces of the friction pad 18, and the third anchor parts 38R, 38L receive floating-up of the friction pad 18 in the side of rotating-in of the disc rotor at braking. Hereby rotation around the anchor parts are surely controlled, and vibration of the friction pad is restrained. Thus the generation of brake noise and shudder can be prevented.</p> |
