In a combustion chamber for a gas turbine with an annular combustion space, the combustion chamber inlet is equipped with a large number of burners which are distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction and which are fastened on a front plate. Arranged in the region of the burners are flushed Helmholtz dampers (21) consisting of supply pipe (51), resonance volume (50) and damping pipe (52). The damping pipes (52) are designed to be exchangeable, for which purpose the walls of the combustion space are provided with a manhole.
