摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat exchanger for cool ing a laser, wherein the heat exchanger is easily lessened in size and kept free from moisture condensation and capable of surely controlling the laser device in temperature. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 36 is composed of a heat dissipating member 38 which serves as a base, a thermo-module 40 and a heat absorbing member 42 which are successively laminated on the flat upside (mounting surface) 38a of the heat, dissipating member 38, and a heat insulating sheet member 44 which covers around the heat absorbing member 42 and the thermo-module 40, wherein the edge 44a of the sheet member 44 is airtightly fixed to the upside 38a of the heat dissipating member 38 by bonding with silicone adhesive material 46. A water path 48 where cooling water is made to flow through is provided inside the heat absorbing member 42. The heat absorbing parts of the thermo-module 40 absorbs heat through a Peltier effect so as to decrease the heat absorbing member 42 in temperature, whereby pure water flowing through the water path 48 provided inside the heat absorbing member 42 is cooled down and reduced in temperature. On the other hand, heat released from the heat releasing parts of the thermo-module 40 is quickly absorbed in the heat dissipating member 38 and discharged into the air through radiating fins 38b provided to the dissipating member 38.
