PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein a plurality of buzzer sounds are useable, a buzzer sound suited to apparatus environment of a user and user's taste is selectable, a buzzer sound can be generated even with failure, and states of selection and setting can be mechanically checked. SOLUTION: Three kinds of a 'high sound', an 'ordinary sound', and a 'no sound state' are selected and set with a buzzer sound selection circuit 12. A CPU 11 reads the state of the selection and setting, stores it as data, and drives a buzzer 6 when a signal is received from a remote controller. If the sound is the 'high sound', then the CPU 11 sends a signal to an output port P3 , and if it is the 'ordinary sound', then it sends a signal to an output port P4 to ring the buzzer 6. When an indoor machine has a trouble, the CPU 11 drives the buzzer 6 irrespective of the states of the selection and setting of the buzzer sound selection circuit 12. Upon shipping, since a setting state of the buzzer sound selection circuit 12 can be recognized with the CPU 11, the setting state can be mechanically checked. |
