The invention provides an improved process for the preparation of a vinyl derivative of a Bronsted acid wherein a vinyl derivative of a first Bronsted acid is subjected to transvinylation by reactive distillation with a second Bronsted acid and at least one of the products from the transvinylation is removed by distillation from the reaction zone as the reaction progresses. |
