ACCESS METHOD FOR CENTER STORAGE INFORMATION BY PORTABLE INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct efficient information retrieval by allowing a portable information processing terminal equipment connecting to a mobile telephone set to access a center side which registers and stores retrieval index information and text information. SOLUTION: A terminal equipment 1 calls a center 10 to connect a line and the terminal equipment 1 receives transmission of index information at a highermost layer early and designates any information to receive series index information from the center 10 and interrupts once the line. The terminal equipment 1 displays the series index information to designate an index of a lowermost layer corresponding to the object text information and redials the center 10 to send the designated index information. The center 10 uses the designated index information as a retrieval key to read text information and send it to the terminal equipment 1 and the terminal equipment 1 displays the text information. And, also the terminal equipment 1 designates the transmission destination of the text information to a nearby facsimile equipment.
